Holland Shell station robbed

HOLLAND, MICH. - Holland Police are searching for an armed suspect after an armed robbery Sunday morning.

It happened at the Shell gas station on S. River Avenue around 9 a.m.

Police say the man had a handgun when he demanded the money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken before the suspect took off on his bike heading west on 16th Street on a medium sized mountain bike.

Police conducted a search of the area, however, the suspect was not found.

The suspect is described as a black man around 35-years-old, around 5'6" in height,140 pounds with bright blue earrings in both ears. He was last seen wearing a black and white baseball cap, a black t-shirt, jean shorts, and brown shoes.
