Police looking for man who robbed Niles bank

NILES, MICH - Police in Niles are looking for the man Wednesday, Oct. 12, who robbed the Chemical Bank.  

Around 1 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a note to the teller. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money before the man left the bank.  

No one was injured.


A photo shows the suspect, who is described as a 5’8" black man with medium build.  

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact the Berrien County Sheriff’s Detective Bureau at 269-983-7141 extension 7224. They have also posted information to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page.
