Robbery victim reportedly assaulted at Grand Valley State University

Grand Valley State University Police need your help finding two people involved in a robbery on campus during the weekend.

ALLENDALE, MICH. - At least two suspects are sought in an robbery on Grand Valley State University's Allendale campus.

The victim reported walking west of the baseball fields around 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, toward West Campus Drive when a man approached and assaulted the person, demanding their wallet, according to an alert sent to students.

After the victim gave the wallet up, a second person allegedly showed himself and took the victim's cash.

Both suspects than ran toward the football stadium.

The robbery was reported to police around 9 p.m. Sunday.

The first suspect is described as a black man, about 6 foot 2 inches tall wearing a blue Grand Valley T-shirt and jeans. The other person is described as a white man, about 6 foot 2 inches tall with a muscular build.
