Suspect arrested after home invasions and car theft

KENT COUNTY, MICH. - A suspect has been arrested in Kent County after several home invasions and stealing a car.  

The arrest happened Monday, July 17 in Cannon Township after a search warrant was executed. The next day the suspect was charged with receiving and concealing a stolen vehicle. 

Deputies carried out the search warrant after a they say the suspect was spotted in a stolen Cadillac Escalade. The Kent County Sheriff's office wrote in a release that the suspect was the same person involved with the home invasions on Cannon Township.

According to deputies, the Cadillac was stolen on July 15 near Lincoln Lake Avenue and 14 Mile Road. 

The case remains under investigation, and anyone with information can contact Detective Tanis with the Kent County Sheriff's Department at  616- 632-6015 or Silent Observer 616- 774-2345.
