Suspect in sexual assault at Dollar Tree turns self in

Sexual assault suspect turns himself in

UPDATE: The man in the photo has been identified. The 65 year old turned himself in. Police say he was interviews and released pending the completion of the investigation.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Grand Rapids police are investigating a sexual assault incident involving this man. 

According to the department, it all happened at the the Dollar Tree store located at 1621 Leonard St NE on Monday, June 12, around 12:45 p.m.

Police say the suspect is wanted for making sexual contact with the victim without the consent.

The suspect is described by police as a black man,  in his mid 40’s. He is about  5’8” tall and thin.  He has a gray and black mustache and goatee along with crooked front teeth, and black prescription glasses.
