Teen, infant injured in armed robbery/shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that turned into a shooting.

According to a news release, it started just after 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, when officers responded to the 1300 block of Maude Ave NE on the report of several gunshots fired.  A vehicle was seen leaving the area.

A few minutes later, police were called to the 400 block of Delaware on a call that two victims had been shot.  A 15-year-old male and a 1-year-old infant were both shot in the leg. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
