The search is on for armed robber who's hit multiple places

Authorities searching for robbery suspect

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Grand Rapids Police Department's Major Case Team has been working with a number of different agencies to find the man who allegedly robbed several businesses in the area.

The robberies span from early to mid November and all involve businesses in Grand Rapids, Wyoming and Kentwood. 

The business have been robbed between 6:30 and 10 p.m. and based on information from investigators, at least four of them have been committed by the same suspect. 

The suspect is described as a black man, between 5'8" and 6' tall and 160-175 pounds. He wears gloves, ski mas and often a black peacoat. 

In all of the robberies, the suspect arrives and flees the scene on foot. He produces a black handgun and steals cash.
