Two hurt in attempted robbery shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Rapids police are investigating a shooting on the city's Northwest Side.

It happened at the Speedway station on the corner of Leonard Street and Turner Avenue on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Police say it appears to be an attempted robbery.

The suspect and victims scuffled in the parking lot before the shots were fired. Police say one man was shot in the knee and the other was hit in the wrist. Both of them showed up at a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a 5'5" African American man, with a medium build and dread locks, wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.
