2 teens shot overnight in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Two teens are recovering after being shot in southeast Grand Rapids overnight.

Grand Rapids police say a large fight took broke out in a parking lot near Woodmeadow Drive and Breton Road just after 1:30 a.m., Monday, April 3.

The 17- and 18-year-old girls suffered non-life-threatening injuries. One was shot in the arm, the other in the back.

Police say neither victim is cooperating.
