Video: Man steals purse from unlocked car at gas station

Police believe this man stole a woman's purse from a car at a gas station in Van Buren County.

KEELER TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Do you recognize this man? Deputies say he stole a woman's purse after she walked away from her unlocked car at a gas station in Van Buren County.

The crime occurred in Keeler Township around 10 p.m. Sunday, June 25, at Sister Lakes Marathon.

Deputies say the 21-year-old woman went inside the store after fueling up. That's when a man at the neighboring pump opened her door and grabbed her purse.

He is described as a Hispanic man between 30 and 35 years old and was was last seen wearing an orange baseball hat and black t-shirt. He was seen leaving in a crossover SUV or minivan.
