Wyoming police need help identifying robbery suspect

Wyoming Police are looking for leads following a robbery late this afternoon.

WYOMING, MICH. - Police are looking for leads following a robbery late Monday afternoon.

Officers responded around 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, to the New Life Thrift Store at 4339 S. Division Avenue, where witnesses said a black man in his 20s threatened an employee with a knife and demanded money, according to a news release.

The man reportedly was wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie, black jeans and black shoes.

No one was hurt in the robbery. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, police said.

Police with a K-9 unit tracked the suspect to a block on Murray Street SW. The man then got into a newer model white Chrysler 300.
