(WZZM) This month's My Favorite Teacher is Veronica VanWagoner of Mill Creek Middle School in Comstock Park.

"This teacher involves parents in the education process. Before the first parent/teacher conferences occur each year she makes a personal phone call to each parent introducing herself. She has created a website for her classroom for parents and students to be up to date on what is going on in the class, as well as what are the assigments and is a way for parents/students to email her with questions/concerns...This has been a real eye opener for some parents."
