GRPS leaders meet to consider museum school

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Grand Rapids Public School District could soon include a museum school.

A committee of school leaders met late Tuesday afternoon to discuss the plans.

If approved, the Grand Rapids Public Museum School could open in the fall of 2015.

Classrooms would be located at the Van Andel Museum Center and at the former public museum site on Jefferson at State.

The museum school would include grades 6 through 12.
