GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Rapids Community College is getting a big financial boost in the new state budget. It was signed by Governor Snyder earlier this week.
The budget includes more than $6.3-million to improve and expand the applied technology center. The money will be used to upgrade computer labs and the manufacturing program. They have been in high demand since the end of the recession.
GRCC's highly successful Culinary Arts Program is also located in the ATC building. The facility was originally built in 1991.
