Bynes is back.
After some tumultuous years of arrests, rehab and more, the former actress and child star appeared on camera Friday for her first interview in four years to talk about her hopeful comeback.
“I do miss acting, and I actually have something surprising to tell you, I’m going to start acting again,” she said in the interview with blogger and talk show host Diana Madison. “I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it in the future. That’s what I hope.”
What else has Bynes been up to since she’s been out of the spotlight? Studying.
“I’ve been going to school lately, fashion school, FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising), and I love it,” she said. “I’ve learned how to sew, I make patterns and I want to start a clothing line in the future so FIDM has been helping me with that.”
She revealed that in her spare time, she’s also been hiking, taking spinning classes and feeding the homeless. She also talked about some of her past controversial tweets, her Blac Chyna style inspiration and her relationships with old co-stars.
The interview later aired on ABC News, which reported that Bynes has been sober for almost three years.
