MACKINAC ISLAND, MICH. - A Wayne State Officer killed in the line of duty last year is being honored by a fleet of ferries on Mackinac Island.

Vinyl decals memorializing Sgt. Collin Rose will be displayed on the pilot houses of the Shepler's Mackinac Island boats. Shepler's ferries travel daily from Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island and St. Ignace during the summer season.

According to a Facebook post from the ferry company, Rose was a former summer cast member for Shepler's.
