Handling Open Enrollment: What to look for and how to choose

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Millions of Americans get their healthcare through their employers. In order to choose which specific plan will work best for them, employees need to consider a number of factors. 

We sat down with the Director of Account Management for United Healthcare in Michigan to talk about what some of those things are. She specifically discusses three main factors when making a decision on healthcare coverage,  choice, care, and experience. 

When you are considering what kind of care you want, it is important to consider your current and future health. 

Some common terms that can make looking for health insurance confusing are deductible, co-insurance, and co-pay. We break them down.
