BYRON CENTER, Mich. (WZZM) - Byron Center High School is trading its traditional orange and black for purple tonight.
This is the third year for the varsity volleyball team's "Purple Game." Proceeds from the game t-shirts, raffles, and games will go to the Van Andel Institute for cancer research.
Every year so far, the game's generated $8,000 in proceeds. Organizers this year hope to break the $10,000 mark.
The game against the Zeeland West Dux begins at 6:15pm. You can get into the game for free by buying a Purple Game t-shirt for $8.
