13 Friends for Life: Breast cancer myths debunked

Dr. Courtney Garlick, the Medical Director of Mercy Health's Comprehensive Breast Center in Muskegon, joined WZZM to help debunk some myth's about breast cancer.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - It's 13 Friends For Life day and that means it's time to contact your friend for life and remind her the importance of knowing her normal.

That includes everything from yearly mammograms, to family history, to making sure she isn't misinformed.
