GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - If there’s one thing you need to know about breast cancer it’s that it does not discriminate. Olivia Newton John is a breast cancer survivor. She found a lump in her breast 20 years ago and was in town to talk about the importance screenings and for both breast and prostate cancer.
She’s the spokesperson for a new wine called Pink and Blue that is being sold at Meijer. Ten percent of those proceeds go to support funding screenings for both types of cancer.
Newton John talked with Health Reporter Valerie Lego about her breast cancer journey, the self-exam device she created and designed and her new album coming out next month with a song for breast cancer survivors.
