The Exchange: 13 FFL

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - We all know breast health is important. Everything from knowing your risk, what is normal for you, how to do a self-breast exam and when to get a mammogram are all important aspects of breast health to understand.

But, at what age should girls be taught about their own breast health? Stacey Newmyer and Mary Miller from Mercy Health stopped by to discuss some tips on how to start a conversation about breast health.

Located in both Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Mercy Health Comprehensive Breast Centers deliver prompt, personal, specialized care for all aspects of breast health. They focus on total breast health — from screening mammograms and lifetime cancer risk analysis to, when necessary, the latest surgical procedures and treatments.
