(WZZM) - The USDA this year is really helping schools around the country to make your child's lunch healthier.
That means more fruits and vegetables offered in the cafeteria and cutting down on the sodium levels in some popular dishes.
The idea is to start your child early on a healthier diet and that's something you can do if you pack your child's lunch.
So now that school has started for children in West Michigan, we asked Krista Gast, a dietitian with Spectrum Health, to join us for something we like to call Eat This, Not That.
