(WZZM) - A new blood test may help doctors figure out a woman's risk of heart disease, diabetes and breast cancer.
The test measures levels of a biomarker that researchers say in women has a very strong relationship to the risk of those diseases, but they don't know why.
The research could lead to new drugs.
In the meantime the test can identify women who would benefit from intense prevention for cardiovascular disease and breast cancer screenings.
