GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Experts say consumers often select Medicare plans without understanding the financial consequences of their choices.
For example, only 21 percent of seniors feel they completely understand their health insurance, and only 26 percent completely understand which health care expenses they’re responsible for paying.
To help people better understand Medicare, Mercy Health Lacks Cancer Center is presenting a free Medicare 2017 Class, presented by Medicare expert Dan Sherman. This class will provide an in-depth presentation of Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Plans so that consumers can understand their choices for 2017 coverage.
