Hundreds participate in City of Walker's annual Easter Egg Hunt

WALKER, MICH. - The weather was perfect for the city of Walker's Easter Egg Hunt Saturday.

Hundreds of kids and their parents gathered in the parking lot of the Walker Ice and Fitness Center for the annual event. A portion of the parking lot was converted into a straw covered "hunting ground" for eggs and candy.

The event was for children ages 2-8, with each age group given a section of their own, to keep the event fair.

The Easter Bunny was also on hand for photos.

The Walker Fire Department also had a truck and crew on scene to meet participants.
