GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - With nearly 300 pieces on display, the Quilts on the Grand show in Grand Rapids has examples of just about every imaginable design, color combination and sewing style.
The quilts are hanging at the Delta Plex during the annual exhibition sponsored by the West Michigan Quilters Guild.
They hold the show every year to support the organization and local charities.
Each quilt reflects the skill, talent and creativity of the creator.
“This is a collection of 280 or so quilts that have been entered by quilters from all over west Michigan,” explains show committee member Lisa Kishman. “All types of work. All styles, techniques and colors. Everything you can think, it’s here.”
There are also booths where vendors are offering sewing machines, instruction and other supplies useful to quilters.
The Quilts on the Grand show at the Delta Plex continues through Sunday.
