ADA, MICH. - Top 20 ArtPrize artist Pamela Alderman is sharing her talents during the 22nd annual Arts in Ada event.
Alderman was commissioned by the Ada Arts Council to paint live on stage during the festival. The painting will then become part of the permanent collection at Ada Township Hall.
Ada Arts Council President Phil Vogelsang explains: "Our goal is to encourage participation in and the appreciation of arts by the residents of Ada and its environs. Including Alderman in the festival's lineup will certainly add an element of excitement to our event."
Organizers say approximately 60 visual artists, performing arts groups and musicians showcased their talents during the festival. Food vendors and children's activities were also available for families.
Arts in Ada is a free, family-friendly event held in Ada Village along Bronson Street between Ada Drive and the Ada Covered Bridge from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
