ADA, MICH. - Kingma’s Market Wednesday, Oct. 12, announced it has partnered with Grand Rapids-based Fish Lads and Carvers’ Grand Rapids Finest Meats for its Ada Village location.
The 14,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in Fall 2017 and will create 35-40 new jobs.
According to a press release, Fish Lads will offer world class seafood, including more than 100 varieties of fresh, smoked, frozen and prepared seafood. Carvers will offer all-natural, locally procured variety of high-end, custom cut meats. Like Fish Lads, Carvers will feature a full-service kitchen with made from scratch lunch and dinner menu items.
“I am excited at the partnership with Fish Lads and Carvers,” said Alan Hartline, Kingma’s Market owner in the release. “Fish Lads is one of the premier seafood purveyors in West Michigan and has a tremendous following. Carvers offers high quality, prepared and fresh meat with a distinct local flavor. Both will be a great fit for the Ada community."Kingma’s Market is hosting a groundbreaking at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Ada Village. The event is open to the public and will feature samples of its products.
The new market in Ada will offer a large menu of prepared foods and meals for lunch, dinner and take-home.
The market will also offer one of the area’s largest varieties of gourmet, imported and local cheeses; a selection of more than 300 specialty, craft, imported and Michigan craft beers; more than 750 wines, including one of the area’s largest Michigan-made wine selection and a local farm fresh produce.
