GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - It's a favorite West Michigan tradition during the holidays.
Tuesday, Nov. 22, Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park will ring in the season with its annual holiday exhibit. It's called "Christmas and Holiday Traditions Around the World." Visitors get to see dozens of international Christmas trees and displays.
Visitors from all over the nation visit Meijer Gardens to experience over 40 international trees and displays, the glow of nearly 400,000 lights, the enchanting Railway Garden and holiday wonderland that encompasses it.
Throughout the season, there will also be strolling carolers and visits from Santa.
This year, Meijer Gardens will highlight holiday folklore and traditions that shape the world. They include Christmas traditions such as the mystic of mistletoe, poinsettia and more.
The exhibit runs from Nov. 22 through Jan. 8, 2017.
