Ada Parks looking for volunteers

ADA, MICH. - Spring is officially here -- and people in Ada want their parks to continue to be beautiful. To do that, they need your help.

Ada Parks will be hosting its spring volunteer kickoff Tuesday, March 21, at the Roselle Park Resource Building.

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be food for people who attend.

Parks leaders say they need education and naturalist volunteers to help with field trips and summer youth programs. They also need native seeds and plants along new trails.

Ada Township park locations:

  • Ada Township Park
  • Leonard Field & Covered Bridge
  • Roselle Park
  • Carl Creek Crossing Preserve
  • Carl Creek Wetlands Preserve
  • Grand River Natural Area
  • Knapp's Corner Preserve
