Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum hosts dozens of entries during ArtPrize Eight

Don Holloway, curator of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, joins WZZM 13 to discuss the venue's art.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum is one of 171 venues hosting entries during ArtPrize Eight.

The facility is home to 33 pieces of work, in all four categories. It is also home to the WZZM 13 Studio during the event.

The building closed it's doors after ArtPrize Seven in October of 2015 and underwent $14 million in renovations.  The museum reopened in June of 2016 with updated exhibits, and a new DeVos Learning Center.

ArtPrize Eight: Guide to Grand Rapids

The museum will be free for ArtPrize visitors starting with the kickoff at Noon on Wednesday, Sept. 21, through the conclusion on Oct. 9. The lobby will also have extended hours during ArtPrize Eight.
