GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - ArtPrize Eight officially kicks off one week from Wednesday, Sept. 14, but its HUB headquarters located on Sheldon Boulevard will open to the public at 11 a.m.
This year’s 19-day completion has several new additions, including music jukeboxes located throughout downtown Grand Rapids highlighting musical entries and the STEAM Village, which emphasizes art education as a pivotal part of STEM learning.
This year’s festival will feature more than 1,600 artist from 44 different countries. Approximately 1,400 pieces have been entered according to officials.
