GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Collectors Show is in Grand Rapids for its Spring edition. The show will feature art from 80 contemporary artists, including ArtPrize artists.
The works of amateurs will be shown side by side with some of the most influential artists of the last 200 years.
The work on display will be available for purchase, and 20% of the proceeds will go directly to support Arts Education programming at ArtPrize 2017. All of the artwork will be priced at guaranteed reduced pricing from a certified, or established gallery, pricing.
The Collectors Show is presented by Second Ave Arts.
The special featured artists include Eugene Delacroix (1798-1863), Hans Hofmann (1880-1966), Phillip Pearlstein (b. 1924), Robert De Niro, Sr (1922-1993), Alex Katz (b. 1927),,Paul Resika (b. 1928), Lois Dodd (b. 1927), and Louisa Matthiasdottir (1917-2000).
The show will open to the public on March 3 at 6 p.m. with a reception and cash bar until 10:00p.m. It will also be open on Saturday March 5 from 12:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. You can schedule appointments for Sunday viewings by emailing Mike Coleman.
