GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Woodland Mall announced the hiring of Lyndsey Hicks as Marketing Director of the mall. Hicks is charged with creating and implementing strategic marketing and public relations programs that will improve the shopper experience, increase the center’s visibility in the region, and help generate increased sales for its retailers and tenants.
Just a month into her new position, Hicks is already positioning Woodland Mall as a partner in the Grand Rapids community.
Her first initiative is the mall’s sponsorship of ArtPrize, an annual international art competition and festival.
“Sponsoring ArtPrize is just one of many ways that I hope Woodland Mall can support its local community as I join the PREIT team,” says Hicks in a press release. “I worked with ArtPrize last summer and witnessed the organization’s impact first-hand on the community and on art. Woodland Mall is proud to sponsor this art festival and thrilled to build this partnership so quickly.”
As part of the sponsorship, Woodland Mall is providing four free phone charging stations to ArtPrize guests located throughout the three square mile area in downtown Grand Rapids. A much-needed amenity, these charging stations will help keep ArtPrize attendees "charged up" so they can access the ArtPrize app for event information, content, and voting.
The free charging stations come equipped with eight charging bays, each containing three different charging cables for iPhone and Android phones.
