Police: Woman hit in the face with beer can

BATTLE CREEK, MICH. - Battle Creek police are investigating a reported assault after a woman, 26, said she was hit in the face with a partially filled can of "Natty Daddy" beer.

The woman said she found a man she knows on her front porch in the first block of East Kingman Avenue at 1 a.m. Monday, June 19, after hearing loud music outside.

She said the man, 28, began yelling at her about $20 he owed her and threw the can of beer, hitting her in the face. He then picked up a video game console and threw it through the back window of her car, shattering the glass.
