GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - It marks the beginning of the holiday season for so many families in West Michigan. The annual Santa Parade steps off in downtown Grand Rapids Saturday morning.

This year's theme is "Christmas Fun for Everyone."

Parade goers can expect to see marching bands, carolers, and a parade of corgis.  They will be walking in honor of Paws with a Cause. And of course, Santa Claus will make an appearance.

Singer- songwriter Jacob Davis is the guest of honor and will perform holiday favorites. Mayor Rosalynn Bliss is the parade's grand marshal.

The parade will start at 9 a.m. at Michigan Street and Monroe Avenue and head south to Fulton Street.

Members of the WZZM 13 family will be taking part in the parade.
