GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Hot diggity dog!
On Saturday, Oct. 29, hundreds of dogs -- corgi, to be precise -- and their owners gathered for the second annual Corgis in the Park fundraiser to benefit Paws With A Cause.
Corgi and their owners joined at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids for several fun events, including a corgi parade and a Halloween costume contest.
Last year, the event brought out around 200 people and 80 corgi, while this year brought even more owners and their pets, according to organizers.
Paws with a Cause is an organization that provides assistant dogs for people with disabilities, as well as children with autism. Health reporter Valerie Lego is training CJ, WZZM 13's own Paws With a Cause puppy, who later will help someone in need.
