Free admission Sunday to 4 G.R. museums

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Four Grand Rapids museums are opening their doors to visitors this Sunday -- and it won't cost you a dime.

It's the "Museums Free 4 All" event, sponsored by Amway.

People can get free admission from noon to five o'clock Sunday at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and Grand Rapids Children's Museum.

Guests will get a passport they can have stamped at each museum, and people who visit certain or all museums can show their passport at the Amway tent at the GRAM to receive prizes.

There will also be free shuttle rides to and from each museum, and activities at each site. The shuttles will operate from noon to 6 p.m.

Kristin Mooney from the Gerald R. Ford Museum and Adrienne Brown from the Grand Rapids Children's Museum stopped by the WZZM 13 studios Saturday morning.
