GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - This week, the scandal that brought down Richard Nixon's presidency at the Watergate Hotel in the nation's capital turns 45 years old. 

Just over two years later, Nixon resigned and was later pardoned by President Gerald Ford.

You can explore the timeline of the scandal at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum here in Grand Rapids.

The Watergate exhibit also features the break-in tools, which the museum curator says are in many ways the beginning of the Ford presidency.

If you're interested in checking out the exhibit on , the Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. admission is $8  for adults.
