GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - UPDATE Dec. 18, 4:30 p.m: The victims have been identified as Kenneth Johnson, 26, and Christopher Luster, 41. The two lived together, and according to relatives, Luster was the uncle to Johnson.
ORIGINAL: The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating the deaths of two men who were found in a home on the West Side of the city.
Police responded when a call came in just before 9:00 p.m. from a family member saying that the two men were unconscious. Police and medical units responded and found the two men dead at 1247 Quarry Ave NW.
There are no signs of trauma on either victim; one man was in his 20s and the other was in his 40s. The names are not being released pending notification of the family.
"It is in the hands of the medical examiner to determine the cause of death," said Cathy Williams of the GRPD.
An autopsy is scheduled for both men Monday.
Police are treating the deaths as suspicious until they can prove that nothing criminal is going on.
The Major Case Team is investigating the death.
