GRAND RAPIDS. MICH. - HQ celebrates two years of helping homeless and runaway youth in West Michigan with an open house Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The open house will take place at their location at 320 State Street SE from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The local non-profit began as an effort by multiple groups to fill the needs of young people with unsafe or unstable housing situations.
Since opening their doors in December 2014, HQ has helped more than 650 unique youths. The drop in center provides meals, showers, laundry services, clothing, basic need items, resources for employment and education, and a computer lab.
