Man expected to live after being shot in the head

Man shot in head in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Rapids police are investigating after someone was shot in the head Saturday morning. 

Just before 3 a.m.,  police say they heard gunshots in the area of Ottawa Avenue and Division Avenue. Then, they saw a car speeding away.

When police pulled that car over,  they discovered the victim. Police say the victim's wound was minor. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. 

Police say he is not cooperating with their investigation. 

Police believe the shooting happened at  the Fish Ladder Park on Front Street.
