GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow is in Grand Rapids to highlight the resources available to the city's Hispanic business owners.
Stabenow met with local business leaders, as well as Maria Contreras-Sweet, the administrator of the U.S. small business administrator. They discussed initiatives to encourage entrepreneurship in Grand Rapids Hispanic community.
According to Experience Grand Rapids, Hispanics represent 16 percent of the city's population. That makes it the largest minority group in the city.
