2 people shot at Grand Rapids' West Side club; suspect wanted

Two people have been shot and another possibly injured during a shooting in Grand Rapids.

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Two people are confirmed to be shot and another possibly injured during an early morning shooting on Grand Rapids' West Side.

Police responded around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, to a club in the area of Deloney Avenue and Fulton Street, where they found a 32-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg, according to a news release. Multiple calls were received by 911 of a shooting at the club.

Police also found a 36-year-old woman who was shot in the upper chest area at a Mobile gas station near Walker and White avenues.

Witnesses told police there was a third victim, but they ran off before officers could arrive, police said. Officers and a K-9 unit looked for the victim to no avail.

The two victims were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the shooting happened after a suspect shot several rounds from outside of the club, hitting a victim inside and another outside. No suspects have been arrested.
