Missing 16-year-old girl found safe

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - UPDATE: Kent County deputies say a missing 16-year-old girl has been found. She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

 

ORIGINAL STORY: Anyone who might have seen a missing 16-year-old girl is asked to call 911 immediately as she might be in danger.

Alexandra Field last was seen during the afternoon Monday, July 10, in the area of Leffingwell Avenue and Winesap Drive NE; police say she was carrying a knife and made statements indicating she might hurt herself.

A news release from the Kent County Sheriff's Department states Field was wearing a black sweatshirt, black stretch pants and black knee-high boots. She is 5-foot-2-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.
