Police: 1 man injured, another in custody after Grand Rapids bar shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - One man is in custody after an early morning shooting at a bar in Grand Rapids on Saturday.

Grand Rapids police say it happened around 2:40 p.m. at Boone's Brew, located at 3423 Plainfield Avenue NE.

There was an altercation between two men, when one of the men pulled a gun out and shot the other in the chest. The victim's current condition is not known.

The shooter was taken to the police department for questioning.
