Man shot overnight in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Grand Rapids Police are investigating after a man showed up at a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police got the call at 1:40 a.m. Saturday. They say the 28-year-old told officers he was walking down the street when he was shot on the 1000 block of Bemis Street. Police say he was shot in the shoulder and lower leg, but his injuries are non-life threatening.

Police say the victim's story is not matching up with with initial investigation and that he is not cooperating.
