GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - A 23-year-old man showed up early Wednesday to a Grand Rapids hospital, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound.
The man told police he was on a home's porch around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, near the intersection of College Avenue and Griggs Street SE when he heard gunshots, according to a Grand Rapids Police news release.
He took off running only to find he had been shot.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital about two hours later. He's expected to be OK.
