Shooting injures man in southeast Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police are searching for the gunman involved in a shooting in southeast Grand Rapids.

It happened around 12:15 a.m. Friday at Neland Avenue and Prince Street.

Officers received a call from someone in the neighborhood who heard gunshots. A victim showed up at Mercy Health Saint Mary's Hospital a short time later with a bullet wound to the arm.

The incident is still under investigation.
