Stabbing injures one in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Grand Rapids Police are investigating a stabbing on the city's southeast side late Wednesday night, Oct. 13, 2016.  

Investigators say it happened shortly after 11 p.m. near the intersection of Dickinson Street and Willard Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to live. Police are having trouble getting information from the suspect because they say he was intoxicated when the stabbing happened.

This is still a developing situation, we will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
